Hello,
Sasee Salsa was inspired by the need and desire to take care of my mother who was diagnosed with a rare heart condition, which resulted in her needing open heart surgery. My mother raised two children on her own and at times worked three jobs to support us. I realized that although my mother is young at heart, she is in her late years in life and it was my turn to take care of her. I don't know what I would do without her.
After searching online for countless hours, days and weeks to find a job that I could work from home and still care of my mother, it led me to a stream of life insurance jobs where I would have to put money upfront to obtain a license for a job I may not even get paid for as it was based on commissions.
It seemed hopeless until I had remembered that one Thanksgiving, I had made salsa for my family to enjoy as a snack while we played games. They all loved it and raved about it. My aunt even said that I should bottle it and sell it. Of course I chuckled as if my salsa would be good enough to sell. That was put far out of my mind at the time. Afterall, they could have just been being kind as they are my family.
So, I did what any good business person does to test out the market for their product? I took my salsa to the streets and gave out free samples, then asked their honest opinions.

Let me tell you, out of a 1,000 taste testers, only 5 said that they wouldn't buy any. You might ask why; well I will tell you. It's because they are just simply not salsa lovers. They in fact said that if they did eat salsa, they would buy mine. What a great compliment.
Well, now that I know my product is good... not to just my family; I thought ok, lets go for it. My name is actually Stephanie, but some of my friends call me Sasee. If that doesn't sound like a spicy name to use for some salsa, then I don't know what does.
My daughter, who wants to be an animator helped me design the Sasee pepper. I gave her some ideas of what I wanted and she created it. I did some editing, but I am certainly not an art major. Haha! Her first version was realllllyyy risk-A. So, I asked her to tone it down. I know it's Sasee, but I don't want parents to have to hide the salsa in their fridge, so their kids don't see the label.
I do hope you try my salsa and enjoy it with your loved ones because life is so very precocious and fleeting.
Much Love,
Stephanie aka Sasee
